Lots of good food for meals. The rooms with couch and comfy bed, for instance, really helpful staff even with a very unusual request-going the extra mile for customer satisfaction.

The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay even better. The rooms were spacious and had comfy beds, ensuring a good night's sleep. Additionally, the location was perfect, being close to the center of town, freeway, shops.

The room at Catalina Motel Lake Macquarie was neat and tidy with crisp white sheets on a comfortable bed. The complimentary coffee and little milks in the fridge were a nice touch. The water pressure in the shower was bliss and the shower itself was spacious. The amenities were clean and the size of the shower excellent. The location was convenient, with nearby shops and a club within walking distance. Despite being on the main road, there was no noise from traffic. I had a great stay.

Additionally, the room could benefit from a few upgrades, such as extra blankets and a new shower head. There were also some noise disturbances from other guests during late nights and early mornings.

The hotel offers great value for money, with reasonable prices and attention to detail. The rooms are clean and tidy, with comfy beds that ensure a good night's sleep. We enjoyed our weekend stay and found a couple of complimentary items in the room such as soap and shampoo. The location was central to shops and a short drive to other areas around the city. The car park was convenient and right in front of the room. We also liked the comfortable bedding provided in the room.

We also found the room to be quite small and cramped for three people. The rates offered were on the higher side, considering the limited facilities offered in the hotel.

The hotel's location is really convenient, being close to the freeway in one direction and near Blacksmith beach in the other. The room and bathroom are clean and spacious with a comfy bed. The service is friendly and accommodating. There are plenty of places in town to eat, with great views across the beautiful Lake Macquarie from many of them.

The hotel could benefit from more lighting or indicators on the driveway as it's hard to see at night.

I also appreciated the quiet atmosphere of the place, which allowed me to get a good night's sleep.

The carpet in the room was a bit dirty and could have used a thorough cleaning. I found it a bit difficult to locate the entrance to the hotel, especially at night when the lighting was not very clear.
